If Intellect is simming highest, you should socket your gear with one Leviathan's Eye of Intellect. For most players, the best setup will be using Masterful Sea Currant in each socket. Potion of Unbridled Fury is the best choice for single-target situations. Greater Flask of Endless Fathoms should be used as your flask of choice. Coastal Healing Potion should be used alongside Healthstone s for emergency healing.

Famine Evaluator And Snack Table is our go-to food. If your raid is not using feasts, you should use Abyssal-Fried Rissole or your best-simming stat instead. If you can afford it, you should use Battle-Scarred Augment Rune s to increase your primary stat.

Since there is a finite amount of these runes available, you should make sure to use them wisely and to stock up on them for when you need them. Starting in patch 8. Sign In Remember me Not recommended on shared computers.

Healing Guide. It's far easier than some might think to build a warlock who could fill in the position normally occupied by a wizard or sorcerer with ease. The best warlock races are tieflings to nobody's surpriseaasimar, half-elves, and variant humans.

They also get two skill proficiencies and this choice has no restrictions, unlike most race or class-based proficiency choicesand resistance to both being charmed and being magically put to sleep; this race would make a fantastic warlock. Just like bards and sorcerers, warlocks are charisma-based arcane spellcasters--which makes charisma a no-brainer to assign as the warlock's primary and highest stat.

Next in order of importance are dexterity and constitution. Less important are the warlock's intelligence and wisdom; as an ability score, wisdom is decent for saving throws, which are very common, but little else. Meanwhile, intelligence is nice for knowledge skills including arcana, but otherwise doesn't particularly empower the warlock.

Whatever the player's lowest stat roll or value is, it should go to strength. With an expanded spell list, Fiendish Resilience, a luck-type feat to beef up saving throws, and the ability to gain HP with every kill, it's hard to go wrong with a fiendish pact and yes, that's an extremely ironic statement, but in this case it's true. Hexblades offer a different style of play but present just as strong an option when deciding subclass.

Every class has a few key skills and feats which suit them best, and the warlock is no exception. There's also Lucky, which just works for any character and class; however, the previous feats all have more specific benefits for a warlock. War Caster is a must for Hexblades especially, as it gives advantage to any concentration-based constitution saves, while Spell Sniper makes spells like Eldritch Blast already an amazing cantrip even more reliable and Inspiring Leader backs up the warlock's natural charisma skills.

Elemental Adept puts even more 'fire' into the warlock's 'firepower,' and Alert is surprisingly useful as it allows the warlock to lay down spells with effects before enemies have a chance to do anything.

It is most applicable to Arena content, but most talents and racial bonuses will work in Rated Battlegrounds and skirmishes. Destruction Warlocks are capable of some of the strongest single target damage in the game. Chaos Bolt is one of the most feared spells in the game, and for good reason. If you give a Destruction Warlock a chance to chain together multiple Chaos Bolts, the game will surely be over. Destruction Warlock PvP Best Races and Racials (BfA / Patch 8.3)

Warlock 2: the Exiled Store Page. Global Achievements. Apheirox View Profile View Posts. With the introduction of the city limit rules it seems to me this limitation makes races with good research capabilites much more powerful since increasing the number of cities you're allowed to keep becomes that much more important. For that reason, although I haven't played the new Warlock 2 races much yet, the Svarts seem really powerful, with strong capabilites in producing both Research and Gold.

The Undead are fun to play - powerful, tactical units and having that early Bat scout is really helpful - but they have almost no inherent research structures and are highly reliant on gaining Research from terrain. The Planestriders I've barely touched but their extremely weak early units seem like they could put that race in situations where their expansion is greatly hampered if there are powerful monsters or worse: opponents!

The Elves are also quite squishy and don't have as strong production structures - but they are quite well rounded, and can produce both Mana and Research. What races do you think are mechanically stronger, and which are your favourite s? Showing 1 - 15 of 21 comments. I should add, list your favourite deities godsas well!

Svarts with they super-early spirit damage flying units, together with the overall fact of have in management very healthy units are capable of start the game and get okay even in the elemental world which I find out funny very powerful resources super early.

So basically in my opinion Svarts are the best race in the game on all stages. Shidan View Profile View Posts.

My main race is usually the Planestriders. Yes they have weak units early on, and it can really make it hard on them depending on their early game situation. But they have a great versatility from their units. With undead warriors, waterwalking mages, highly resilient healers, etc.

Quiz on friction for grade 3

They have something for every situation, it just requires some planning to use them effectively. And oh my god, their temple units are powerful beyond belief. The Archers of Chaos in particular will wipe the floor with just about anything in the game once you put some enchantments on it always invisible, capable of doing upwards of damage per shot, gets something like 4 attacks per turn with the right perks, including one 7-tile AoE.

And they have a temple unit for just about every god. This allows you to pick your path through the gods however you want. You'll have some good units waiting for you no matter which way you go. What are your thoughts on the economic aspect of the game? I understand some races get extremely powerful units and it sounds like they aren't very well balanced, to be honest but how do you work around the city limit?

If you have one super-powerful unit that just one-shots everything I guess you can win the game by just walking around sniping capitals - but if you're trying to build up some sort of empire no unit will let you build a large number of cities, regardless of how powerful it is in combat It would seem to me, as I wrote in the OP, that the research-based races have a pretty major advantage overall because of that? Not really imo.So, you've finally caved in, huh?

You went and purchased World of Warcraft? You can finally begin enjoying the things you've been reading upon! This guide works for anyone hopefully.

From the most pro player of all time, to some random newbie, stuck on what to do. This guide will hopefully make you consider other classes, and finally, choose the class destined for you. We will: Take into account the pros and cons of each class, Decide what role you want to play, Where you want to play that role RP? All three? Let's Crack On So, let's have a look at what's available. Note: Expierienced WoW players might not neccessarily need this section.

But, it's still helpful. Okay, first let's choose what faction you want to play. You may want to look at the Alliance:Horde ratio of your server, as it may help you in your decision. So if you have friends on a particular faction, you'd best choose that faction. Just look at some factors and decide, as the faction you play doesnt have THAT much of an impact on your gameplay.

Also, while looking here, you may decide on what race you would like to try out. But please note, not ALL classes are available to every race, so I'd choose your class first. Horde : The Horde are more brutal and fierce looking. They are the most abnormal looking, too, as opposed to the Alliance. Their races consist of: Undead: For matter of simplicity, they are dead humans who are 'alive'.

They have next to no flesh, and are basically your typical stereotype zombie. Their starter area is considered by me as quite difficult for the majority of classes that undead have, and isn't the most well set-out. Their normal mounts, in my opinion, are pretty crappy looking, but their epic mounts look awesome. Orc: Greenskinned, angry, and brutal is what they're portrayed as.

They're like a school bully: They look angry and horrid on the outside, but once you know them, their inside is as soft as a fluffy kitten on a cloud. Okay, maybe that's taking the piss, but oh well. Their starter area is pretty well designed, but again, not the most excellent.

Their mounts are okay, I guess. But I dislike the colours. Troll: Blue skinned folk who were taken in by the orcs.

I told you orcs are softies at heart.Mastery and Haste are your best stats for Single Target. The enchants you use depend on your stat weights. Both Mastery and Haste enchants can be useful, but you should sim yourself before enchanting your gear.

Mastery : Accord of Mastery. Haste: Accord of Haste. Mastery : Masterful Navigation. Gems are depending on your stat weights. Both Mastery and Haste gems can be useful, but it is always best to sim yourself before socketing your gear. It is also recommended using one Intellect gem if your Intellect is simming better than both your Haste and Mastery.

Mastery : Masterful Sea Currant. Haste : Quick Sand Spinel. Intellect : Leviathan's Eye of Intellect. Potion : Superior Battle Potion of Intellect. Flask : Greater Flask of Endless Fathoms. Rune : Battle-Scarred Augment Rune. Health Potions : Abyssal Healing Potion.

However, when they fighting against teams with casters on it, they have the potential to do incredible amounts of spread damage. If left unchecked for even a few seconds, they can easily apply their DoTs and begin melting entire teams.

Even if an Affliction Warlock is being focused by enemies, most of their damage is instant and will slowly pressure down teams.
